Does your child love doing art but doesn't get enough enrichment at school? Consider signing them up for individual classes! I myself attended art classes outside of school from the ages of 4-18 and accredit the majority of my skill building to those years one on one with a teacher. I learned things in those sessions that I was unable to learn in school such as rendering a photo-realistic painting/drawing, how to use my skills to create a personal artistic style, and how to build a diverse portfolio for college.
I offer a variety of classes and workshops for children, teens, and adults that will cater to each individual's skill level, interests, and inspirations! Building a portfolio for college? For single sessions I offer a two hour time slot for $30 which includes all material fees. I would suggest single sessions for someone who just wants to create one painting or drawing or just learn a little bit more about a specific medium that they enjoyed in school. These sessions are geared towards people who want to create a painting off of a specific photo and do not include any lesson planning on my part.
For ongoing classes, I offer a monthly fee of $110 that includes one two hour session each week as well as all necessary materials and an individualized plan for learning. Any additional classes would be added the same way a single session would be at $30/session. I would suggest ongoing classes for people who want to have more experience with art materials, processes, and styles. For these classes I will assess skill level and then create an individual plan for each student based on what they are interested in learning. These classes are perfect for children who want a more in depth look into 2D art or for teens building portfolios for college.
Workshops will be available seasonally based on the weather, holidays, etc. When I have a workshop available the information will be located below.
